frigid touch

glitch and glitz; futurism and allure

Spring 2013:

Frigid Touch is a collaboration between Mike Crooker, Christopher Foldi and Michelle Strong. Their debut single "Cascade" is slated for release Spring 2013.

The initial release under the Frigid Touch name was a ten track album performed by Foldi solo. "Hello World" (2008) featured melodic vocals over a canvas of glitchy electronics drawing from epicurean influences, including the music of Bryan Ferry, Depeche Mode and Goldfrapp. Initially, Crooker joined as a live member, but recent collaborations (including vocalist Michelle Strong) have led to a decidedly new direction. With Crooker in the mix, the group's music draws from a larger and more eclectic range of influences, bound together by Foldi and Strong's distinct dual vocals.

The band is continuing to write and record material, with a live debut planned for late Spring of 2013. Hear "Cascade" now!

Our live debut is forthcoming, also slated for Spring '13.
